LISLE, Ill. Dec. 2, 2022 – KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, is pleased to announce that Steve Gonzalez has been promoted to Senior Vice President – New Equipment Business, Americas, and joins the KONE Americas Leadership Team.
In his role Gonzalez will oversee all new construction sales and field operations, with additional oversight in major projects and project management development. He will continue strong collaboration with R&D and the Supply Line to optimize full chain performance.
Gonzalez brings 15 years of previous industry experience working at KONE as the Major Projects Unit Director for the Americas and leading Project Management development for the global Major Projects team. He also brings more than a decade of engineering, sales and management experience from Honeywell International and The Trane Company. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
